Each country has one vote except those nations
with Football more important than with two.

classification determined by amount of points.
When published listings, those players with less than five points are not shown to keep countries with a sole representative included in the list. However, to be shown in the ranking, a player must have the votes of two or more different countries.The leader of the list is Pele, followed by Johannes Cruijff and Franz Beckenbauer. Diego Maradona, considered by many the best of all time, took this classification in fifth place. The Uruguayan Juan Alberto Schiaffino, Jose Leandro Andrade and Hector Scarone were located at positions 17, 29 and 40 respectively.
